Keeping your website software updated is important because it keeps your site more secure and allows for later updates to be performed more easily. Whether it is the latest version of WordPress or a security update on your photo gallery, shopping cart or response form, pay attention to the prompts to update and keep your site secure. Of course, for a nominal fee, we are always happy to perform your updates for you.
Many clients come to us to build and/or host their website, but they seem to forget that they are actually using an amazingly powerful machine -- called a computer -- to update its content and connect it to other platforms.
We encourage clients to take full advantage of what their computer can do by focusing on ways to automate simple or repetitive tasks that take way more time than they should. For instance, we help websites talk seamlessly with social media sites, so that blog updates are automatically posted to Facebook, and announcements are tweeted to their followers as soon as they are posted. You can even turn a blog into an email newsletter with just a couple clicks.
When used properly, social media and email are perfect funnels for your website, so make sure your site is doing everything it can to attract visitors. With today's technology and a little help from Lyons, you can do that with virtually no effort or time.
Jonathan Lyons is back to full strength following his recovery from abdominal surgery. Jonathan is more excited than ever about the business."I have already started to implement new ideas, develop new ways to improve customer service and continue my never-ending pursuit of new opportunities to make those around us even more successful" he said. "Great things are coming."
In addition to working on the business, Jonathan is working on his health. At the end of April, Jonathan will be riding his age. That's a mile for every year. In the last couple months he has been stretching his distance stamina and increasing his speed. Drop us an email if you're up to joining Jonathan for a forty seven mile ride.
